Julien Husson
Julien Husson is an assistant professor at Ecole polytechnique (Palaiseau, France). He obtained his PhD at Ecole normale supérieure in Paris, worked as a postdoc in AMOLF Institute in Amsterdam and in Curie Institute in Paris. He is a specialist of cell mechanics and micromanipulations. He develops micropipette-based techniques to characterize mechanical events during leukocyte activation such as force generation and changes in viscoelastic properties. He studies different types of leukocytes, including T lymphocytes and phagocytes.
